Ohhhh, Paris. The capital of love has long been ushering femme style with its classic, yet minimalist design. Woman of all over have at one time adopted a vintage rouge lip accompanied by a simplistic black, white, or denim hue. This look is based off my modern take of French girl fashion. I call it: Parisian Grunge.
I absolutely adore the gingham print trend that has been popular this season, so of course I had to purchase a skirt (similar) in this adorable pattern. The frill trimming makes this piece so feminine and perfect for summer. Since the skirt is such a statement I stuck with the french girl model and went for a black neutral tube-top with a matching clothe choker.
To make this outfit a bit more edgy, I chose to wear my favorite chunky (and thankfully super comfy) 90’s platform boots. To complete the look and to also stick to the neutral color scheme I chose this shaped white bucket bag from Zara.
Next time you have no idea what to wear, remember that you can always stick to the basics (aka french girl fashion)! Shop the items I’m wearing by clicking the handy links placed around this post. Talk soon babes. xoxo
